Holiday Club Summer 2016 - Week 1

Posted 9/8/2016

Our famous holiday club at Christchurch Kindergarten began at the start of August with some fun-packed trips to the RAF museum and Rumble Tumble.

At the RAF museum, children enjoyed a real experience of sitting in the planes and dummy cockpits. They also visited Aeronauts! Their science interactive galley was packed with hands-on exhibits demonstrating how aircraft fly.

An interesting part of the day involved children testing their reaction times and vision. They took the controls of a helicopter and had a go at low level hang-gliding.

At the soft play centre, Rumble Tumble, our children had lots of fun whilst developing physical and social skills. The children especially enjoyed the sensory room with the unique experience of low lights and movements which helped children stimulate and develop their sensory patterns in a different way.
